Cactus and Succulent Soil-Free Potting Mix

This is our house-made general potting mix for cactus and succulents. It is a "soil-free" mix, meaning it does not contain traditional garden soil. Instead, our mix is made of coco coir, coco peat, perlite, poultry grit, lava rock, silica sand, and worm castings. These components provide good aeration, drainage, and moisture retention, which are all imperative functions of growing indoor plants in containers.
